We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network insurance. Even though we do take insurance, it's the client's responsibility to know their benefits prior to their first session.
*Not all therapists are able to accept Blue Care Network
If you don't have either of those insurance providers, we are an out-of-network provider for psychotherapy. Many out-of-network providers offer reimbursement for our services. Contact your insurance provider and ask if you have out-of-network benefits for mental health services.
If you plan on using insurance, we'll usually do a benefit check to ensure you're eligible to use your provider. We try to give you an estimate of what we expect payments would be when using your insurance. It's your responsibility to understand your insurance and your potential deductibles and copayments. We ask you to keep a payment method on file through our portal that will be charged after each session or when an insurance claim is accepted.
If you don't plan on using your insurance, the payment form that you have on file will be used after each session.
We do have an $80 cancellation fee if you cancel an appointment the day of your appointment.
A typical counseling session at Evergreen Hope Counseling lasts for 50-55 minutes, although some sessions may be longer or shorter depending on your needs and preferences.
We center our practice on 4 values:
If you’re planning on meeting in person, we are located at 1176 S. Main Plymouth, MI 48170 in Suite 201. We’re in a blue building (Edward Jones is also in the building) next to the Dairy Go-Round. When you arrive, you can take a seat in the lower level or on the benches outside suite 201 and your therapist will come and welcome you to their office.
If your child or teen is experiencing anxiety or depression, therapy is a great way to help them through the process of confronting issues. Parents are always welcomed into session but it may not be recommended depending on needs and wants from the kid or teen. We often find that individual sessions with a few family sessions to be the most beneficial when it comes to treatment.
Parents will have access to their child's therapist and will be able to communicate their need, wants and insight about their child.
