My passion is working with teenagers and young adults to help them manage through life difficulties and help them grow in seeing their full potential. Therapy is an individual experience, and each need is different. I believe that our experiences are our superpowers in learning and growing. Just like a superhero in a movie, they need to learn and adapt to their new powers; therapy can support that growth. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, sadness, struggles to adjust in school, struggles in peer relationships or family struggles I am here to listen, support and help foster growth.
I have experience working in a variety of settings and utilizing creative methods tailored to your individualized needs. I have a passion for tapping into individuals' creative sides through mediums like music and art. I also have a passion for connecting physical activity in supporting overall mental health and physical health. Promoting balance within an individual's mind, body, and spirit.

As a therapist, I've found a passion for working with older teens and young adults as they navigate these very transformative years. Individuals in this age range face many challenges and are working to become their own person throughout it all. It's important to me to create a space of safety where my clients have choice and support in exploring who they are, how they've learned to keep themselves safe, and how they can move toward the version of themselves they would most like to be. I believe in the importance of curiosity, and will always take a non-judgmental approach as we normalize and understand that all behavior and feelings are functional and protective to some extent. It's in gaining this understanding that we can create a space of acceptance of where we've been, while identifying goals for where we would like to go.
Every client is their own individual with their own stories, and therefore I believe it's important to take an individual approach with each person I meet. I have experience working with multiple mental health-related challenges, including anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, symptoms related to trauma, difficulty with life adjustments, and depression. I've been trained in a variety of modalities, and I often utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as attachment-based and relational strategies. I'm credentialed as a Licensed Master Social Worker - Clinical in Michigan. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan.

I found my passion for working with kids and teenagers, and the importance of supporting them when experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression, when working in the school setting. When working with kids and teens, I find partnering and working with their parents is essential. It is because of this that I completed the training to provide Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), in order to partner with parents to reduce their child’s anxiety and improve their emotional and overall well-being. SPACE is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety-related disorders and OCD and was developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center.
