Jan Bice MSW, LMSW

Portrait of a woman with curly hair indoors.

My goal as a therapist is to help children, adolescents, and parents cultivate a positive mindset while building healthy relationships and boundaries. Through compassionate, nonjudgmental communication, I partner with clients to establish meaningful goals and support them in achieving lasting positive change. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, social-emotional challenges, and grief and loss.

As a Licensed Social Worker, I earned my master's degree from Wayne State University. I have extensive experience working within the school system and believe that developing strong parenting strategies is key to fostering academic, behavioral, and social success. My therapeutic approach draws on Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients build practical skills and confidence.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young adult children, especially when we can get together for a round of golf. I also enjoy staying active through exercise and challenging myself with word games. Whether I'm watching a good comedy or playing an online game of Scrabble, you'll often find me with my two cats, Patches and Smokey, curled up nearby.

I look forward to supporting you and your family as you work toward healing, growth, and resilience.
